Pink October with Foil Me

Thank you to all our Pinkies who were involved in our 2020 Pink October campaign, #TenTillNeverAgain in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

As of 20th November 2020, we have now raised almost $30,000 out of our $40,000 goal! We’d like to express a huge thank you to all of our Pinkies who have already donated their raised funds. As corporate partners with The National Breast Cancer Foundation, this is our fourth year in a row raising funds and awareness to this important cause. As the deadline to submitting your raised funds is approaching (the 27th of November), we’d like to share the following message from Kirra, who is the executive of corporate partnership with the NBCF.

"On behalf of everyone here at NBCF, I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for your involvement in the Ten Till Never Again campaign by Foil Me. We understand that this year has been a year like no other and that the beauty and hair industry in particular have been impacted heavily. And whilst fundraising in salons and businesses across the country may have looked a little different this year, we have been truly blown away by all the support that we have seen. We have loved following along the journey and seeing pink washing across the industry for the month of October.

Despite the challenging times we are living in, breast cancer continues to impact Australian lives. Almost 20,000 Australian men and women will be diagnosed with this devastating disease in 2020. It is therefore important to us to raise much-needed funds to change the outcomes for these people whose lives have been – and will be – impacted by breast cancer in 2020 and beyond. As you may know breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia with 1 in 7 women diagnosed in their lifetime. As NBCF relies entirely on the generosity of the community, campaigns like Foil Me’s Ten Till Never Again, are paramount to helping us reach zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030. With your support, we can continue to fund game-changing research to ultimately reach zero deaths from breast cancer.

Campaigns such as these don’t simply happen. It takes months and months of preparation and daily planning, and we couldn’t thank the team at Foil Me enough for all the hard work and time that they continually dedicate to getting each Pink October up and running. With your participation we have seen Pink October reach new heights and with the 4^th year of Pink October complete – we can’t wait to see if we reach the ambitious goal of $40,000 raised through the tremendous fundraising efforts of each and every one of you.

We have extended our deadline for banking funds raised as part of the Ten Till Never Again campaign and ask that all donations are submitted via the below donation link by Friday 27^th November."
