In Celebration Of The LGBTIQ+ Community, The Pride Collection Is Back!

Aiming to continue to brighten Foil Me movers’ salons around the world, the retro Pride Collection foil features a print of two rainbows kissing on a white background; a salute to the pride flag and an overture of love, equality, diversity and peace.

Symbolically this is what the colours mean for the LGBTIQ+ community:

*RED - Life

ORANGE - Healing

YELLOW - Sunlight; be yourself instead of hiding in the shadows.

GREEN - Nature

BLUE - Serenity

PURPLE - Spirit

According to Foil Me’s CEO and Creative Director, Emily Ciardiello,

“To honour the LGBTQI+ community, we adopted the rainbow; an image that symbolises joy, radiance and optimism. We have denoted LOVE by displaying two rainbows embracing one another and placing them on a white background symbolising the colour for peace and freedom. So essentially, the foil is art that communicates EVERYONE should be able to express their love for one another, no matter what race, colour, gender, national origin, age, religion, faith, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression a person identifies with.”

In 2022, and in keeping with Foil Me’s ability to combine innovation with a philanthropic ethos and social conscience, we are once again donating $1 from the sale of every Pride Collection foil box to The Equality Project (@equalityproj_au).

The Equality Project is an Australian charity bringing together LGBTIQ+ people and allies to promote a better, more just, and fairer society for all Australians. They are on a mission to create spaces for the LGBTIQ+ communities, organisations, advocates and allies to work together, build bridges and speak with a common voice through national and regional conferences & training events.
